In recent articles we introduced Narad, the oldest Hindi agregator. We also introduced ChitthaJagat, the technically robust  and feature-rich  agregator. The third one is BlogVani  which can be interpreted to mean the Sound of Blogs, Voice of Blogs, etc.

While the first two are based upon PHP, this one is based upon ASP NET technology. Among the three BlogVani is the cutest and esthetically most pleasing. Anyone in a hurry would love this cute product with many features.

शब्दों का सफर A Hindi Blog On Etymology

 

अजित वडनेरकर: उत्पत्ति की तलाश में निकलें तो शब्दों का बहुत ही दिलचस्प सफर सामने आता है। लाखों सालों में जैसे इंसान ने अपनी शक्ल बदली, सभ्यता के विकास के बाद से शब्दों ने भी अपने व्यवहार बदले। एक भाषा का शब्द दूसरी में गया और अरसे बाद एक तीसरी ही शक्ल में प्रचलित हुआ। शब्दों के इस सफर में बेहद दिलचस्पी रखता हूं मैं। इस ब्लाग में मैंने हिन्दी में प्रचलित शब्दों के इसी सफर का लेखा-जोखा बनाने का प्रयास किया है।

एक निवेदन: किसी शब्द की व्युत्पत्ति को लेकर भाषा विज्ञानियों का नज़रिया भी अलग-अलग होता है। मैं न भाषा विज्ञानी हूं और न ही इस विषय का आधिकारिक विद्वान। अब तक जो कुछ इस विषय में पढ़ा-समझा-जाना उसे आसान भाषा में छोटे-छोटे आलेखों में बताने की कोशिश है मेरी। बीते कुछ वर्षों से यह काम चलता रहा है। अभी तो सफर शुरू ही किया है।

Some time ago the Hindi blogger Ajit Wadnerkar realized that many common expressions in Hindi have a history behind them. With that he became fascinated with the origin and derivation of such words and expressions. Soon he had a collection of resources into which he would delve for such discovery.
